How is SHWC Different?
Here at SHWC, we have several features that set us apart. We want to make sure that our patients never feel rushed, which is why we spend 45 minutes on average with each patient. Our excellent, experienced team of doctors and staff include chiropractors, a physical therapist, and a licensed acupuncturist.
Our diverse range of professionals allows us to treat many conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, sports injuries, back and knee pain, and scoliosis, along with many other ailments. Our offices are conveniently located inside health clubs, so we are available onsite should you experience soreness or an injury.
It is our goal to use the best available technology to provide the most effective treatment services to our patients. We use the Class IV laser, which is a new, top-of-the-line technology that targets tissue and stimulates healing. This laser is very effective in relieving pain and joint stiffness, as well as in reducing inflammation and scarring. This non-invasive treatment is useful for treating accident or sports-related injuries, as well as back and neck pain.
We also use the Kennedy Neural-Flex Decompression Table. This is the first decompression system that offers advanced treatment of disc problems. It is also the only decompression table that allows patients to receive comfortable treatment in either the prone or supine positions.
In addition, we rely on the active release technique, the Graston technique, kinesiology taping, and sports specific massage to provide the highest level of care for our patients.
What is Chiropractic Care?
A natural form of health care, chiropractic care specializes in treating musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders, as well as treating the effects that these ailments have on a person's general health. Patients often seek chiropractic care when they are facing back, neck, or joint pain, or if they are suffering from headaches.
Chiropractors use methods such as laboratory testing, clinical examination, diagnostic imaging, and other interventions to help assess a patient's needs. Chiropractors focus on hands-on, medication-free care and are able to advise patients about necessary diet and lifestyle changes, as well as determining beneficial exercises to improve a patient's health.
