Dr. Andrew Roy, D.C.(Owner)
Dr. Andy Roy has always had a passion for health and wellness. He enjoys working with athletes and people of all ages trying to improve performance. He was a nationally ranked division 1 wrestler for Rutgers University. Dr. Roy graduated pre-med from Rutgers University and attended Palmer Chiropractic School where he graduated magnum cum laud. He sustained many injuries in college and the medical treatment he receive led to poor outcomes. This persuaded Dr. Roy to veer off the medical path and focus on natural healing. He chose to go to chiropractic school after going through chiropractic care and seeing amazing results in maximizing his performance and minimize injury.
He also has a passion for nutrition and enjoys attending frequent seminars to stay up to date on cutting edge nutrition and treatments. He is certified to perform nerve conduction and electro-diagnostic tests. He continuing education is extensive in sports injuries, neurology, nutrition, and detoxification. Dr. Roys goal is to improve the quality of life of every patient and change lives.
Dr. Mike Verga, D.C.(Fairfield, NJ)
Dr. Mike announced to his fellow classmates his senior year of high school that he was going to become a Chiropractor. This was the result of observing his mother successfully treated his sophomore year and he himself successfully treated by the same Chiropractor his junior year while preparing for the upcoming football season. After graduating from New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Mike founded his own office in NYC and spent over 10 years treating patients with various backgrounds and careers including those who were loyal gym members and dancers. He has spent the last 3 years serving patients in Verona and is trained in the latest techniques tailored to a clientele concerned with improving and maintaining their health and fitness. Dr. Mike lives in Cedar Grove with his wife and young son, enjoys working out and singing in rock bands and is excited to join the team at Signature Health and Wellness.
Dr. Richard Kouefati, D.C.(Belleville, NJ)
Dr. Richard Kouefati DC attended Fairleigh Dickinson University to pursue a Bachelor degree in Biology. In 2006, He transferred to Life University College of Chiropractic where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelors degree in Biology, as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2010. Dr. Richard completed four years of study in Chiropractic practice including anatomy, physiology, X-ray analysis, Chiropractic philosophy, visceral, orthopedic, musculoskeletal and neurological diagnosis. Dr. Richard utilizes many different techniques of Chiropractic such as Full Spine, Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, SOT, Clinical Biomechanics of Posture, Flexion/Distraction and extremity adjusting.
Dr. Richard joined Signature Heath & Wellness in June of 2018 eager and excited to introduce optimum health and wellness to future prospective patients. Dr. Richard's mission as a Chiropractor is to provide the members of his community with the ability to experience high quality care.
Dr. Nicole Batista, DACM, LAc(Fairfield, NJ)
Dr. Nicole Batista is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and a Licensed Acupuncturist. She attended one of the largest institutions of Eastern Medicine in the United States, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she earned her Doctorate Degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. Dr. Nicole is no stranger in treating clients who need a little extra support when it comes to stress management, chronic physical ailments, autoimmune disorders, infertility, and women’s health (just to name a few!). She’s even treated professional athletes who want to stay on top of their game! In fact, she has successfully treated hundreds of cases throughout her career and has seen incredible results!
It’s her mission to help as many people as possible obtain optimal health. She is excited to contribute her talents and teamwork towards her team's efforts in helping people regain their health!
Dr. Joanne Harle , PT(Belleville & Fairfield, NJ)
Dr. Harle graduated from the Philippines with a Bachelor’s Degree of Physical Therapy and earned her transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from University of Montana.
Dr. Harle has over 20 years of experience treating patients of all ages. She has experience in Acute, Subacute, Long Term, Home Care and Outpatient settings.
Dr. Harle gained extensive experience treating neurologic, orthopedic, sports medicine and post surgical cases. She has a valuable manual and treatment approach.
Dr. Harle has taken a large number of CE courses in many areas to expand her skills and to continue to learn new techniques. She is always looking at the most up to date research to refine her skills and help her patients.

Jan J. Sanchez, OT(Belleville & Fairfield, NJ)
Jan Sanchez has been an occupational therapy practitioner since 2014. He received his associate in applied science in OT from Rockland Community College in 2013, and his master’s degree in OT from University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2017. He has worked in various settings including in skilled nursing facilities, home health care, special education school setting, adults with developmental disabilities, and in wellness clinics.
Whether its helping children with disabilities to participate fully in school and social situations, helping people recovering from injury to regain skills, or providing supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes, occupational therapy practitioners have a holistic perspective, in which the focus is on adapting the environment to fit the person, and the person is an integral part of the therapy team.
Lisa David, PTA(Belleville)
Lisa 'Izzie' David is a Physical Therapy Assistant who graduated at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. While she has only joined our team in March 2021, she has proved to demonstrate passion in her work, adaptability and dedication to health and wellness. Her knowledge extends but is not limited to: posture analysis and anatomy, recommending proper rehab exercises and mobility, trigger point therapy, active myofascial release therapy, joint mobilizations, and much more!
Heather Balestrieri, L.Ac.(Belleville Office)
Heather received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Kaplan University. Her next step was to attend the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. She also earned a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, graduating with honors. Heather’s signature acupuncture sessions utilize several other therapies for the best results. These include functional nutrition testing, supplementation, nutrition, mindset coaching, therapeutic bodywork, and meditation. By integrating all parts of our being- physical, mental, and spiritual-optimal health can be achieved. Working with Heather will bring your body and health back into balance and alignment. It will empower you to be an active participant in your healing process and remain on the path of wellness.
Cheysser Gregorio, COTA(Fairfield, NJ)
Cheysser Gregorio is an Occupational Therapy Assistant and graduated from Eastwick College in 2019. She has worked in various settings, including outpatient wellness clinics, sensory clinics, and schools. Cheysser plans to continue to expand her clinical knowledge to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care to her patients. She possesses a strong work ethic and passion for helping her patients recover and maintain the skills necessary to stay as independent as possible, perform their everyday activities and improve their quality of life.
Nicole Schoeneich, COTA(Belleville, NJ)
Nicole is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and graduated from Eastwick College in 2017. She is currently enrolled in Mercy College where she is going for her Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Nicole has experience in Skilled Nursing, Schools, Sensory clinics, and Outpatient settings. Nicole’s treatment philosophy is patient centered and highly individualized care to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily functioning.
Pete D'Amico, PTA(Fairfield, NJ)
Peter D'Amico, PTA is a physical therapy assistant with Signature Health. He has 15 years of outpatient orthopedic experience, with a history of providing professional and quality patient care. He is well-versed in a broad range of PT programs, treatments, and modalities restoring function and mitigating disability for diseased and injured patients. Mr. D'Amico is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, New Jersey Chapter.
